UNIVERSITY OF MONTANA
LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
I assume if you’re on this page you are looking to find out more about Alpha Phi and let me assure you that it is so much more than what can be portrayed through a website. How do I describe the thing that changed my life and continues to help me grow as a person? How do I describe the friendships that turned into the deepest bonds? How to I describe an organization that pushed me further than I ever thought possible?
The answer: I don’t know if it’s possible to paint a full picture of what Alpha Phi is, but I’ll give it a try.
Chi Chapter is a collective of inspirational women who individually are extraordinary, but together are unstoppable. We are bonded by our values of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Loyalty, and Character Development.
Alpha Phi is a worldwide network of more than 170 chapters and 200,000 sisters. The innovative leadership and organizational practices of Alpha Phi's Founders in 1872 set the spirit for the Alpha Phi of today...a sisterhood that values the past but looks forward to the progress offered by the future.
This past year Chi Chapter celebrated our hundredth year at the University of Montana. We were able to join with sisters past and present to celebrate all that Alpha Phi is. I look forward to seeing what the next 100 years hold for us. I know that they will be nothing short of exceptional.
We look forward to every opportunity to embrace more determined, confident and supportive women into Chi Chapter!
“Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting one another in lifelong achievement.”
